Marseillais born Albert François Ciocca lived from 1907 to 1963. He was a shepherd on the flanks of the Montagne de Lure and would have long been forgotten, were it not for the fact that his poems written in pencil on the stones of a sheepfold were discovered after his death. Our compatriot Philippe Van Cutsem (Le récit de mon père) filmed this moving tribute to Ciocca more than half a century after Albert's death.
