MERCREDIS PERCUTANTS : SOUFFLE BOREAL

Seven women - four Inuit and three Chukchi from the Far North - display their astonishing vocal virtuosity. Each song and every dance creates a tableau depicting an authentic and spiritual universe. These Canadian Inuits demonstrate the difficult katajjaq vocal play; the Chukchi throat singers also dance and play drums and Jew’s harp.
