A collection of episodes from the popular American animated television series produced by The Mirisch Company and based on the title character of Blake Edwards’ 1963 film of the same name. The Pink Panther was originally a diamond with a flaw that took the form of a feline character animated by Friz Freleng in the credits sequence of the film. The panther became a full-fledged character in The Pink Phink, which won an Oscar in 1965 and spawned 61 other short features. The adventures are set to the delightfully catchy jazz-based theme created by Henry Mancini.
