Sixteen-year-old Nick escapes from an institution and meets Leon, an old artist in crisis, who convinces him to go in search of his family roots (in this case, a grandmother who was once a virtuoso pianist)... This was the last appearance on the big screen of Gaston Berghmans (80 years old), a popular comedian and Flemish TV legend, and his only role in a drama. Plus, a rare live performance by Toots in a fictional film.
