Animation has always had a special link with toys like puppets, dolls, the magic lantern or optical games... From Le Petit Soldat (Paul Grimault, 1947) to A Town Called Panic, via Toy Story and Tin Toy, toys have been coming to life in animated films. This year, the Animation Lab will be exploring this world of toys, figurines and bricks of all kinds.
