The Eternal Breasts

The infidelity of her husband prompts a poetess to ask for a divorce, but she loses her son. The wish expressed in the title of the film does not come true: cancer claims the young woman’s breasts. While the script may seem to veer dangerously close to melodrama, the lead character’s deep humanity keeps it genuinely emotional at all times, hence the deep affection of many Kinuyo aficionados for this heartbreaking film.
