Highly acclaimed as an actress, Camille de Casbianca is also a director, and has made some remarkably heartfelt films. She filmed her grandmother, and the special relationship between them, during the last 20 years of her life, right up to her dying moments. The result is almost a “home movie”, a raw documentary on ageing and death, which is also a lesson in life.
