La Monnaie chamber ensemble

The musicians of the De Munt/La Monnaie orchestra know a lot about a multitude of things. They are also intimately familiar with chamber music. They offer the 1944 trio for flute, cello and piano by Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů along with the sonatina for flute and viola from 1934 by the under-appreciated Belgian composer Albert Huybrechts. Paul Hindemith's Trauermusik can be heard throughout.
