I Solisti del Vento

The wind instrument musicians of I Solisti del Vento dive deep into the oppressive world of Degenerate art. This is a repertoire by mainly Jewish composers such as Endre Szervansky, Erwin Schulhoff and Alexander von Zemlinsky who were persecuted by the Nazis and whose work was banned under the Third Reich. They often wrote sophisticated music with a melancholic undertone.
