The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (John Huston)

Carte Blanche Fabrice du Welz

To coincide with the screenings of his work, the Agnès Varda Studio will lend itself to the director’s cinephilia by giving the public the opportunity to discover the influences behind his unique vision.

From American classics such as Charles Laughton’s The Night of the Hunter or Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, to Asian cult fare such as Imamura’s Unholy Desire or Kurosawa’s Throne of Blood, Fabrice du Welz is given carte blanche to assail our senses with pulp, fanaticism, horror and fantasy.
