Who better than our artist-in-residence Denis Kozhukhin to open the Flagey ON AIR concert series? When he won the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2010, he was only 23 years old. This exceptionally talented pianist succeeds time and again in finding the perfect balance between emotion, intelligence and imagination in every piano piece he undertakes. He feels at home in every possible repertoire: the refined music of Haydn and Schubert, the imaginative music of Grieg or the virtuoso, colourful music of Maurice Ravel.
