Due to the special situation caused by the coronavirus, we may be forgiven for forgetting that 2020 is the year of Ludwig van Beethoven. Fortunately, Andrey Baranov, winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2012, and his sister Maria Baranova will bring us one of Beethoven's most famous violin sonatas, the Kreutzer Sonata, together with Franz Schubert's lyrical Violin Sonata No. 1 and George Enescu's atmospheric folk music-inspired Violin Sonata No. 3.
