With his solo album Entendre, the Swiss pianist and composer Nik Bärtsch gives us an insight into his musical thinking. The artist finds freedom and new sounds by working with limited resources. His new compositions, called "Modul", are meditative and minimalist models rather than actual compositions. In this album, Bärtsch reveals his adventurous music in its purest form.
