Repetition or looping has long been a trademark of vocal artist Ine Claes' sound language. In her LOOPWORK project she explores this element from different perspectives. She also likes to bring together artists from different backgrounds. With vocalists Els Mondelaers and François Vaiana and drummer-percussionist Joâo Lobo, she creates an ensemble of diversity and goes on a search for common ground through the fundamental idea of the loop. LOOPWORK travels from minimalism to dense groove to peculiarly eclectic worlds, through dreamy soundscapes that trigger the listener's imagination.
