The connection between Debussy and poetry is profound: not only through the friendships the composer forged with numerous poets, but also through the mystery of his music, which seems to speak to the deepest reaches of the soul. This programme, specially conceived for the festival by Elodie Vignon, invites the listener on a journey through the seasons in Debussy’s music, illuminated by a selection of poems recited by the Belgian actress Stéphanie Coerten.
