The Belgian School of cello playing

The initial part of the exhibition is dedicated to nine generations of cellists from the Brussels Conservatoire. The most familiar is François Servais (1807-1866) known as "the Paganini of the cello". The second part is a presentation of the lifetime's work of Eric Feldbusch (1922-2007), who, as a virtuoso cellist, composer, conductor and director of the Conservatoire, left his mark on Belgian musical life in the 20th century.
