Mémé and Jeannette are grandmothers and neighbours. Alone in their houses, separated by a fence, they never speak. Mémé plots to encroach on Jeannette’s land and construct a golf course in memory of her late, golf-playing husband. Jeannette, blind as a bat, dreams of escape in the autumn of her life. This project combines three disciplines: animated film, table-top puppetry and live music, thanks to an instrumentarium on the stage. The show switches between scenes played out by puppets next to the screen and projected scenes, all to a live musical accompaniment.
