Nathan Daems and Lander Gyselinck are two important figures of the new golden generation of jazz innovators. In 2013, they formed the Ragini Trio with Marco Bardoscia (bassist of Paolo Fresu, among others) with whom they give a midas touch to traditional Indian music. Their first album Ragini of 2013 was an instant success. During the Brussels Jazz Festival, the trio will invite two special musicians: the Franco-Serb virtuoso pianist Bojan Z and the Indian classical singer Sawani Mudgal with whom the group released the wonderful album Peace The New Jazz. At Jazz Middelheim, the band was one of the absolute sensations and since then, the band has been the centerpiece of De W.E.R.F. records.
