Marco Mantovani

Marco Mantovani

The young Italian pianist Marco Mantovani studied in Mantua, Florence and at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. During his studies in Brussels he was awarded the Ingeborg Köberle Prize as "Most promising student of the year". He has also won prizes at numerous international piano competitions. He is currently a PhD researcher at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel/Vrije Universiteit Brussel in the ‘Doctorate in Arts’. Since 2019, he is Assistant professor of Piano at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. Pianist Maria João Pires said about him: "From the first day I discovered somebody with great talent, wonderful musicality, wishing to understand music in a deep way".
