According to her, her music is best described as a blend of diverse emotions, ranging from the loss of love to melancholy. She calls it 'Saudade', feel free to call it a genre in itself. Compositions that come straight from the soul, songs that aim at providing peace and comfort during these confusing and hectic times.

Naima Joris only started singing when she was 27 years old. Intrigued by the Iranian percussion and Balkan music and under the impulse of her father Chris Joris, she gradually found her true voice and sound to tell her own story. A story that is bursting with personal experiences. Together with bassist Lara Rosseel, she brings subdued, tranquil music that reflects the musings of her soul. A journey through the most intimate caverns of her heart.
