Un beau matin

Single mother Sandra (Léa Seydoux) lives with her eight-year-old daughter in a small flat in Paris. In addition to taking care of her daughter and her busy job as an interpreter, Sandra regularly visits her father, a former philosophy professor who suffers from a neurodegenerative disease that makes it impossible for him to live independently. While Sandra and her family are busy packing up his belongings and searching for a suitable care home, she runs into her old friend Clément, with whom she had lost contact. Despite Clément having a relationship, the two have an affair and Sandra, after a long time, feels alive again.
