Centenary of Toots Thielemans

Jazz legend Toots Thielemans, who died six years ago, would have turned 100 in April. We are commemorating this with a series of films featuring his music and the sound of his harmonica. First, of course, the urban western Midnight Cowboy with the unforgettable leitmotif written by John Barry. Then there is the JP Belmondo comedy Le Guignolo, the melodrama Fried Green Tomatoes, the action thriller Hard Rain, and Salut l’artiste, a tribute to bit-part actors and extras with Marcello Mastroianni. And not forgetting Christmas in Paris, featuring a live performance by Thielemans.
