Before and after the concert of Songs for the Crossing on Friday evening December 15, you can discover a light and videomapping on the Flagey building. UNHCR, Little Miss Robot, Brussels Philharmonic and Flagey collaborate to illustrate the facts and stories behind the worldwide migration during World War I and now. 

Songs for the Crossing by Belgian composer Jeroen D’hoe, based on text by Stefan Hertmans, remind us of the infamous crossing of the Yser in Tervaete during World War I. But at the same time, the project could not be more up-to-date: ‘the crossing’ also refers to the current migration of refugees all over the world.
