Panoptique

Panoptique is a collaborative and participatory project freely inspired by Franz Schubert's cycle Der Winterreise of 24 songs. The performance, at the intersection of opera, performance and research, is the result of three years of meetings with people who inhabit the closed environments of prisons and psychiatric wards. Indeed, it is prisoners, patients, carers and prison staff who are the composers, librettists and protagonists of Panoptique . They have the opportunity to make their voices heard. Come and resonate with our human nature in this must-see Brussels premiere.
